Canoe Pass Village is a 5 star floating home community with 43 unique strata titled properties. The community is located near the mouth of the most southerly arm of the great Fraser River, in Ladner, BC.

The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority has set aside up to 33 berths specifically for floating residences. Float home owners live in a centre of lively activity. The area is a crossroads for harbour ferries, float planes, kayaks, fishing and pleasure vessels. Owners share their neighborhood with harbour seals, herons, eagles, geese, cormorants, gulls, otters and raccoons.

Ladner Reach Properties operates a private floating home marina on our water lot. The float home marina has 28 berths on the Ladner Reach arm of the Fraser River and provides vessel (floating home) owners with a clean, safe community featuring spectacular riverfront views from all 28 berths.

Located in the heart of the world-famous Gulf Islands, we offer year-round moorage for short visits and long-term stays. Long-term moorage options include; open moorage, boat sheds, yacht enclosures and even float homes.

Marina WesDel is located on the south arm of the Fraser River in a quiet, serene region known as Canoe Pass. We love to be outside enjoying our community, on our decks or along the picturesque dykes that border our homes.

Mosquito Creek Marina and Boatyard is located in Vancouver Harbour, in the heart of North Vancouver, with easy access to the Salish Sea and the Gulf Islands. There are a mix of open berths, boat sheds and float homes in the Marina.

We are the residents of Sea Village, located on the east end of Granville Island. Many of you are aware of us since we have been so fortunate to occupy this space for the last 45 years. Serendipity is a pleasant surprise or unexpected discovery. We started as a hodgepodge collection of floating homes looking for somewhere to live. Due to pure serendipity, our homes and Granville Island made a long-term agreement, we contributed plenty of funds, planning, hard work and ingenuity and we made our home. Sea Village is a community, down-to-earth, inclusive family and we care deeply for each other and our larger Granville Island community.

The BC Nautical Residents Association was founded in 2010 by a group of liveaboard boaters to encourage responsible living aboard and to find solutions to issues faced by people who live on the water.

The South Fraser River Enhancement Society (formerly Ladner Sediment Group) is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life on the river. Initiatives include advocacy, with a focus on dredging the secondary channels to maintain safe navigable waters.

The float home community, located in the beautiful Scarborough Bluffs, is the only one of its kind in Ontario, Canada. This very rare community of 24 float homes is nestled in a protected cove on Lake Ontario, that is only 15 minutes away from downtown Toronto.

Barnhill Marina is a floating home community in Alameda, California. From the 1960's to today, this colorful and lively marina has been home to a wide variety of residents living a unique lifestyle on the water of the Oakland Estuary.

Bridgeton may be Portland's best-kept secret! Dating to the early 1900s, Bridgeton was once a thriving fishing and farming community. The Bridgeton neighborhood of today continues to be a unique and viable assortment of floating homes, condos, historic homes, and businesses.

The FHA represents the interests of the residents of 400+ homes in five floating home marinas. The FHA is nonpartisan and run by a volunteer board.
